Welcome to L'Origane

Perched on a quiet hill and hidden away in the cyress and olive trees, the Origane Guesthouse awaits you...

You will feel as if you are in the middle of the moutains, but you are in reality at a mere 40 minute drive from the city of Nice. Surrounded wildnerness, the Origane Guesthouse is only 4 km away from the lovely town of L'Escarène, in the heart of the Pays des Paillons, in the Nice hinterland.

Carole and Eric Ciavaldini have transformed this former farmers house into a confortable and cosy country home. They have today decided to no longer reserve the charm of two of their splendid bedrooms to their only friends. With a peaceful view on the houses' roman tiles and wodded hills, these new guest rooms are a perfect place to relax and escape from the clamour of city life. You will also be able to enjoy lazing around the beautiful pool, nestled in heart of the property. In the sun to tan, or in the hamac beneath the shade of the olive trees, the choice is yours!

Passionate about cooking, Carole will happily greet you at her table. You will be invited to feast on local specialities, discover french cuisine as well as suprising and exotic dishes. She draws her inspiration from seasonal and often home made produce. The olive oil is exacted from the house's abondant olive trees and the vegetables are often picked from the garden as are the figs and oregano.
